Who knew that Northern Ireland wasn't in Great Britain? Not me. I think independence for England would make life easier. I'd happily lose all those Labour MPs from Scotland and Wales not to have feel the dissappointment of Andy Murray losing another Grand Slam. It would make supporting non English sports stars like our love for the Irish cricket team - that great English trait of rooting for the underdog.
